Yeah, I got my VO2 max tested last year. It was interesting to see the numbers, but I'm not sure it was worth the $$$ for me. I mean, I already knew I wasn't built for speed. The results did help me adjust my zone training, but I could've figured that out on my own with some trial and error. If you're a serious competitor, maybe it's worth it. But for us mortals, I'm not so sure.
