I'm with you on this. I've caught myself getting too caught up in the data, and it takes away from the actual run. Sometimes I just want to zone out and enjoy the ride.
That's awesome about your coworker John! I'm inspired by a friend who went from being a smoker to running marathons. She's not fast, but her determination is admirable.
Exactly, it's a watered-down version. Don't get me wrong, it's great for newbies, but us serious runners need more than a 10K to get our fix.
