Half Marathon Training: The Never-Ending Grind

I'm 8 weeks into my half marathon training and I'm already feeling burnt out. The constant pressure to hit my paces, the endless miles, the sacrifices... is it all worth it? I'm not even sure I'll PR at this rate. Anyone else feeling like they're just going through the motions?

Burnout at 8 weeks? That's not a grind, that's a cakewalk. You're not even close to the real grind. I've been doing this for years and I can tell you it's not about hitting paces or PRs, it's about putting in the work. If you're feeling burnt out, maybe you're not doing it right. Maybe you need to rethink your training.

You're 8 weeks in and feeling burnt out? You're not even close to knowing what grind is. Keep going, it gets worse.

Yeah, I feel you. I'm still a beginner but I've had weeks where I just wanted to quit. Maybe take an extra rest day or two, reassess your goals, and remind yourself why you started in the first place. It's okay to not be okay.
