Hydration Strategies

I've always wondered what's the best way to stay hydrated during long runs. Do you guys prefer to carry water with you or rely on water stations? I've tried both and I'm not sure what's more effective. Also, how do you make sure you're drinking enough water during the day? Do you have a specific routine or do you just drink when you feel thirsty? Help a guy out!

For me, it's a mix of both. I carry a handheld water bottle for shorter long runs and rely on water stations for longer ones. As for daily hydration, I aim to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day. I also make sure to drink a full glass of water as soon as I wake up and before each meal.
