Twice a week? You think that's enough? I'm doing speed workouts 3-4 times a week and I'm still not seeing the gains I want. Frequency isn't the only factor, it's about intensity and consistency over time. If you're not pushing yourself hard enough, once a week might as well be once a month. Don't bother bumping it up if you're not willing to put in the real work.
Barefoot running is a fad. You're gonna end up with bruised feet and a higher risk of injury. If you want to strengthen your feet, try incorporating foot exercises into your routine instead of ditching your shoes altogether.
Praying to the satellite gods isn't a strategy, my friend. GPS can be finicky, especially in heavy tree cover or urban canyons. I've had my fair share of dropped signals and inaccurate readings. Maps may be old school, but they're reliable and force you to pay attention to your surroundings.
