Anyone know of any decent running documentaries out there? I've seen the usual suspects (Spirit of the Marathon, Unbroken, etc.) but looking for something new. Don't need any inspirational fluff, just good storytelling and running. Thanks.
There's a great one on Netflix called 'The Barkley Marathons' - it's about this crazy ultra race in Tennessee. No fluff, just weirdos running in the woods. You'll love it.
Yeah, Barkley's is a classic. If you liked that, you might enjoy 'The Runner' on Amazon Prime. It's a no-nonsense look at a guy trying to break the record for most miles run in a year. No inspirational music or over-the-top narration, just a dude putting in the work.
