Sleeping for Success

As runners, we all know that recovery is just as important as the actual running. But how many of us actually prioritize sleep? I've been experimenting with different sleep schedules and routines to see how it affects my performance. I'm curious to hear from you guys - what's your approach to sleep and recovery? Do you aim for a certain number of hours of sleep each night? Any tips or tricks for getting quality rest? Let's discuss!

I've found that establishing a consistent sleep schedule has been a game-changer for my running. I try to get at least 7 hours of sleep each night and make sure to wind down with a relaxing routine before bed. It's amazing how much of a difference it can make in how I feel on my runs.

I've been trying to prioritize sleep more too. I've found that 7-7.5 hours of sleep is my sweet spot. Anything less and I'm sluggish on my runs. I've also started using a sleep mask and earplugs to create a darker, quieter sleep environment. It's made a big difference for me.

7-7.5 hours is a good range. I've found that 7 hours is where I feel most rested. I've also started using earplugs, it's amazing how much of a difference it makes. I've also been trying to establish a consistent sleep schedule, even on weekends. It's not easy, but it's worth it.

7-7.5 hours is a good range. I've found similar results. I've also started using a sleep mask and it's been helpful. I've also been trying to establish a consistent sleep schedule, even on weekends. It's not always easy, but it seems to make a difference in my runs.

I aim for 7-8 hours of sleep each night, anything less and I'm a zombie on my runs.
