I've been doing tempo runs at what I think is a moderate pace, but I'm not really getting any faster. Is it possible I'm going too easy? Anyone else struggle with this?
Honestly, if you're not pushing yourself to the point of discomfort, you're probably not doing tempo runs right. It's supposed to be hard. If you're not getting faster, it's likely because you're not challenging yourself enough. Stop holding back and see what you're really capable of.
Amen to that. If it doesn't feel like you're about to die, it's not a tempo run. Time to suck it up and get uncomfortable if you wanna see those PRs
