Yoga for Runners: Worth a Shot?

Just started doing some yoga to help with flexibility and recovery. Anyone else do yoga regularly? Noticed any benefits or is it just a nice stretch?

Been doing yoga for years, and yes, it helps with flexibility, but also improves my running form and reduces injuries. Not just a nice stretch!

Agreed, yoga's been a game-changer for me too. Noticed significant improvements in my stride and fewer niggles after long runs. Worth the investment of time, that's for sure.

I've been doing yoga for a few months now and I've noticed a huge difference in my flexibility and recovery. My IT band used to act up a lot, but since I started doing yoga regularly, the pain has almost gone away. It's not just a nice stretch, it really helps with injury prevention!
