Identifying and Correcting Form Flaws

What's the most common biomechanical issue you've encountered in your running, and how did you go about fixing it? I've been working on my own form lately and would love to hear about others' experiences.

Heel striking was my biggest issue. I started focusing on midfoot striking and it's made a huge difference in my running efficiency and reduced my risk of injury.

I've had issues with overstriding in the past. Focusing on quick turnover and shorter strides helped me correct it. It took some time to adjust, but it's made a big difference in my overall form.

Midfoot striking is a big one. I had to work on that too. Took some time to adjust, but it's paid off. Now I'm trying to focus on my posture and not slouching as much. Still a work in progress.

For me, it's been all about posture. I used to slouch and lean forward, putting way too much pressure on my lower back. Once I started focusing on keeping my core engaged and my shoulders relaxed, I noticed a huge difference. Still working on it, but it's made a big difference in my overall comfort and efficiency.

Posture is a big one! I've also had to work on keeping my core engaged and shoulders relaxed. It takes practice, but it's worth it. I found that doing exercises like planks and bridges helped strengthen my core, which in turn helped me maintain better posture while running. Keep at it, it's a process!

Overstriding was my biggest issue. Focused on quick turnover and shorter strides, helped a lot.
