Track and Field: Back to Basics

I've been doing some track workouts lately and it's amazing how much it's helped my running. There's something about running in circles that strips it back to basics. No distractions, no scenery to take your mind off the pain. Just you, the track, and your breathing. It's not always easy, but it's honest. You can't fake a good track session. Anyone else been hitting the track lately? What's your favorite workout?

Love this! Track workouts are great for mental toughness. It's just you against the clock, no excuses. I've been doing 400m repeats and it's amazing how much it's improved my endurance. Keep crushing those laps!
