I've been thinking of getting a treadmill for those days when it's too cold or rainy outside. But is it really worth it? I mean, it's not like you're really running anywhere, right? Is it just a way to ease your conscience or can you actually get a good workout on one of those things? Anyone have any experience with treadmill running? Is it a viable alternative to hitting the pavement?
That's a great point about mental toughness. I think it's also good for tracking progress and pace, but you're right, it's not the same as outdoor runs.
