What's the best running documentary out there?

I'm looking for some inspiration and motivation to get me through my training. Has anyone watched any good running documentaries lately? I've heard great things about 'Spirit of the Marathon' but I'm open to other recommendations. What's your favorite and why?

I'm a big fan of 'Unbroken' - it's not just about running, but about perseverance and the human spirit. The story of Louis Zamperini is incredibly inspiring and it always gets me pumped up for my next run. Give it a shot!

Yeah, 'Unbroken' is a great choice. I've seen it a few times and it always gives me chills. If you're looking for something more focused on running, I'd recommend 'The Barkley Marathons'. It's a bit quirky, but it's a fascinating look at one of the toughest ultras out there. Might not be as inspirational as 'Unbroken', but it's definitely entertaining.

Unbroken is a great choice, but have you seen 'The Barkley Marathons'? It's a more niche doc, but it's all about ultrarunning and it's super motivating.

I recently watched 'The Barkley Marathons' and it's definitely a must-see for any runner. It's more about the culture of ultrarunning, but it's so entertaining and motivating. The characters are hilarious and relatable, and it's a great look into the world of trail running.

I loved 'Spirit of the Marathon'! It's so relatable and motivating. But if you're looking for something different, I'd recommend 'Hood to Coast'. It's a fun and lighthearted doc that follows a team of runners during a relay race. It's all about camaraderie and pushing yourself to new limits. 🏃‍♀️

I've seen both of those and they're great, but I think 'The Barkley Marathons' is even better. It's more intense and shows the real struggle of ultra-running. Plus, it's not just about the runners, but the whole atmosphere of the event. It's super inspiring and will definitely get you pumped up for your training.
