What's the deal with training plans?

I've been running for a bit now and I've been following a few different training plans. But honestly, I'm not really seeing any significant improvements. Are these plans just a bunch of fluff or am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Training plans are just a guide, not a magic formula. They work if you work. Don't be discouraged if you don't see immediate results. Focus on consistency, patience, and listening to your body. You're putting in the miles, that's what matters. Keep at it, and you'll eventually see progress. It's a journey, not a destination.

Consistency and patience are key, but let's not sugarcoat it. If you're not seeing improvements, something's off. Either the plan's not tailored to your needs or you're not executing it correctly. Identify the issue and adjust accordingly. It's not just about putting in the miles, it's about putting in quality miles.

Consistency and patience are key. I've been there too, feeling frustrated when I didn't see immediate results. But I've learned to trust the process and celebrate small victories along the way. You got this! Just keep showing up and putting in the work.

Maybe you're overthinking it, just listen to your body.

Consistency is key, but it's not the only factor, you need to mix it up too.
