Do Training Plans Really Matter?

I've been running for a few years now and I've been using a training plan, but I'm starting to wonder if it's all just a bunch of nonsense. Anyone else feel like they're just winging it most of the time? I mean, does following a plan really make that much of a difference?

Honestly, it's all about consistency and listening to your body.

Consistency is key, but listening to your body is just an excuse for not putting in the work.

Mostly just a crutch for the mentally weak.

That's harsh. A plan helps you stay accountable and focused, but it's not a magic solution. It's about finding a balance between structure and listening to your body.

Harsh, but some truth to that.

Honestly, it's all about accountability for me.

Accountability is huge! I'd probably still be on the couch eating Cheetos if I didn't have a plan to stick to.

Accountability is just a fancy word for discipline
