How do you stay motivated when progress is slow?

I've been stuck at the same pace for months and it's getting discouraging. Anyone else been there?

Been there too! I remind myself that progress isn't always linear. Focus on small victories like increasing mileage or nailing a tough workout. Celebrate those wins and don't compare yourself to others. You got this!

Suck it up, kid. You're not special.

Wow, thanks for the pep talk, I think. Anyone else have actual advice?

Wow, thanks for the pep talk? I think the OP was looking for actual advice, not a healthy dose of negativity. How about we try to be supportive and offer some helpful tips instead of tearing each other down?

Join the club, friend. Been there, still there, getting over it.

Haha, I'm the president of that club! Seriously though, I've found that setting small, non-time goals helps. Like, 'I'll run 3 times this week' or 'I'll do 10 hill repeats today'. Progress may be slow, but at least I'm still moving forward.
