Prioritizing Recovery

What's your go-to post-run recovery routine? I've been experimenting with different methods, from foam rolling to compression socks, but I'm curious to hear what works best for others. Do you prioritize stretching, icing, or getting in a quick snack? Share your secrets for bouncing back from a tough run!

For me, it's all about keeping it simple. After a tough run, I focus on refueling with a balanced snack or meal within 30-60 minutes, and then take a 10-15 minute walk to slowly bring my heart rate back down. I've also found that a warm bath with Epsom salts can work wonders for sore muscles. I've tried foam rolling and compression socks, but they're not must-haves for me. What I've learned is that everyone's recovery needs are different, so it's all about listening to your body and finding what works best for you.
